Hello my name's Ezra. I arrived at the centre as a stray so nothing is known about my background but my friends think I'm around 5 years of age. I was in quite a state when I arrived but with lots of love and TLC from my friends here, I'm looking and feeling so much better and they think I'm now ready for my second chance at a better life with loving new owners. I can get worried meeting new people, especially men, it's important that I'm allowed to approach people in my own time and feel safe. Once I feel comfortable with you, my character really comes out and my friends tell me that I'm a very sweet, cheeky, lovable little man, I love having attention and I'm hoping my new owners have room on their sofa for me to cuddle up next to them! One of my favourite pastimes is playing, toys are the best, I quite often greet my friends with a toy in my mouth. I'm looking for an adult only with no visiting children as I'm very uncomfortable around children and have a very nervous disposition. Unfortunately I find seeing other dogs quite stressful and I do need to continue working on my manners around other dogs but could possibly live with a calm female of similar size if the right home came along. I'm unable to live with cats. Unfortunately Ezra has a Grade 3 heart murmur which means he will need medication and regular heart checks for the rest of his life - if you are interested in giving him his loving forever home the staff will be happy to dicuss the cost and implications of this with you.
