Hi there! My name's Monty and I'm a young Terrier. I'm described by my friends as a very cheeky but very lovable little man! It appears I missed out on lots of important socialising that young boys like myself should have had, so I'm looking for experienced new owners who will have the time and knowledge to help guide me in my new life. I'm very fearful of new people so it's important any potential new owners understand it will take me time to build a relationship of trust, but you'll be rewarded with a loving friend in time. I have started 'training and socialising' with my friends here but it's vital this is continued and I have lots of consistency and positive experiences in my new home. I'm told I'm a very intelligent boy, and I really love learning new tricks and getting tasty treats in return! I can get frustrated around other dogs but I'm learning that with slow, positive introductions I can make some lovely dog friends! As I've missed out on socialising I can get very worried around children so I am looking for an adult only home preferably with no visiting children either. I could possibly live with a well adjusted female dog and may be able to live with a cat depending on how I behaved on a home visit.
