About me

Hi everyone, my name is Buddy and I'm a 2 year old Border Collie. I've been at the centre a little while now as I've been doing lots of training with my friends behind the scenes to help me feel more relaxed in the big wide world. Although I still have some way to go, my friends think I'm ready to find my perfect forever home. I will need to be rehomed locally so my friends here can provide back up support to my new family to ensure I get the best out of my fresh start. I would love new owners with collie experience who have lots of time to dedicate to me and know how to help me channel my energy in a more productive way. My friends say that I'm an absolute sweetheart and think I'll make a very loving and loyal companion in the right home. The way to my heart is definitely with toys, I love to play, tuggy toys and balls are the best! I will need a home with a secure garden where I can play as I will need to be kept on a lead or long line at all times when out and about. I am very traffic reactive so am looking for a home in a quiet, rural location away from any busy or main roads - unfortunately I am extremely sound sensitive and even the noise from vehicles in the distance can cause me to become very distressed. I could possibly live with older teenage children that would be willing to get on board with my specific training needs but would prefer to be the only pet in the home please.
