About me

Hi, I'm Bruno, and I'm a 3 year old Collie X Spaniel. I'm looking for a very special new home and owners who have experience with Collies/Spaniels with guarding issues. Unfortunately I've had quite a few homes already, this has been quite unsettling for me and as a result I have lost trust in people, it's important I'm given time to build a relationship with someone, once I've bonded with you then you'll have a loyal friend for life. You can probably imagine having collie and spaniel in me that I'm very high energy (and very strong on the lead), so new owners with an active lifestyle is a MUST!! I absolutely love being out and on the go, exploring new places is the best! The only other thing I love more than walks is water, I'm a proper water boy and love having a splash around. I'm incredibly intelligent and it would really benefit me to have new owners who like to do lots of training, I love using my collie brain! I've also got an incredible sniffer and love games that involve using my nose, especially if it's finding hidden treats - I'm great at that! I do have strong guarding traits which my handlers will be happy to discuss with anyone interested in giving me a loving home, because of my guarding issues I will need an adult only home with no visiting children and will need to be the only pet in the home. Due to the large amount of visits to the centre and prospective home visits that any potential owner will be required to do we are unable to rehome Bruno out of Cornwall.
