Hi everyone! My name is Roxy and I’m a beautiful girl who is very deserving of a loving forever home. I’ve been down on my luck recently and my whole life completely changed. You see, I was given away as a Bingo prize and, my then new owner, passed away, meaning I had nowhere to go. Luckily, I found my way to NAWT Clacton but I’m ready for the next chapter of my story now. I mostly spend my time hanging out in the office with some staff and it’s here that they’ve seen the truly silly, goofy comedian that I am! My favourite thing ever is soft teddies...I love them and will always take them to bed with me.
I love cuddles, belly rubs and snacks and, in between, I like napping upside down on the sofa. I love being outside in the garden and will try to find the sunny spot, wherever that may be. I am a girl that’s full of character; I always have the staff here laughing and I know I’ll make you smile too. Given recent events, it’s no wonder I have my insecurities. It will take me some time to trust you but, once I do, you can bet I’m never going to want to let you go. So this does mean I want to keep other people and animals at bay and I will be protective of our home. I am a big girl and I am extremely strong on the lead; this, alongside my reactivity, means I am best suited to a home with a large garden rather than going out on walkies. This will suit me down to the ground because I love being out in the garden! I will need an adult only home with no visiting youngsters and a pet free home. I’m a good girl; I’m housetrained and not destructive and could be left for a couple of hours whilst you pop to the shops. But because I’ll love you so much, I’d much rather we could spend as much time together as possible!! I might not be the ‘perfect’ pooch but I’ve got lots of love to give to a very deserving person. If you’ve got enough love to welcome me home, please don’t keep me waiting! I’m sitting by the phone!
