About me

Hello my name is Poppy! I’m a 5 year old Jack Russel looking for my forever home! When I arrived here at the centre I felt very lost, scared, confused and didn’t know what was happening to me! I just wanted to go home to what I was used to but with time and patience, the staff here helped me settle in and I realised that I was actually okay. The staff showered me with love, letting me grow in confidence in my own time. I am very happy to say that I am now ready to start a new adventure with a new family!  When you meet me you will see that I do still have a shy side around new people and it may take a little while until I’m completely comfortable accepting a fuss from you, but I will soon build up a bond and you will become my favourite humans in no time! You will also notice that I love my toys! What I would really really like is a big toy box full of more toys then I could wish for! I do also enjoy my walks, occasionally with some four legged friends that are small like me and calm. I’m looking forward to meeting my new family and taking my place on the sofa! If you think you have space in your home for little bundle of cuteness like me then please get in touch with the centre!
