About me

Hi guys my name's Ben and I am a gorgeous one-year-old Collie. I came into the centre as my previous owners were finding me too much. I'm looking for a new owner with plenty of collie experience to take me on!
My carers here have described me as extremely affectionate and enthusiastic - I just can't wait to greet everyone! I can get frustrated easily and need someone who is prepared to put plenty of work into me and continue to help me with all aspects of my training!
Around other dogs I can become frustrated so it’s best to avoid doggy hot spot areas. Once I feel more confident with other pooches, I am very bouncy and playful. I am a typical collie and am very movement motivated, this is also true when I'm in close proximity to traffic. Someone who is around for most of the day in a completely rural location would be ideal to help me with my training and to get me used to being left alone.
I need an experienced home where I can catch up on my socialisation. My carers say I've got huge potential! I would be best homed as the only pet in the household and it is important that I have a large secure garden to bound around in! If you think I could be suitable for you then please consider me and I will make a loving companion!
