Hello, my name is Blu. I am a handsome two-year-old Husky X Greyhound. Unfortunately, I came into the centre as I was no longer getting on with the other dog in the home.
I am a friendly and enthusiastic boy that needs owners that are experienced with larger breeds. I'm very people orientated and love to say hello to everyone I come across. Staff here have been working on my polite greetings as I can get myself a little over excited!
True to my breeds nature I am full of energy and I’m looking for an active home. I travel really nicely too so the adventures we could go on are endless.
It is important that I find a new owner who has the time to exercise and socialise me, as well as continue my training on a daily basis. My handlers are currently focusing on longline work with me to help with my recall, I will run off to explore if given the opportunity.
It is a must that my new home has a very large and secure garden to run around and play in; somewhere for me to use up some energy would be perfect! I could live in a home with older sensible teenagers that are used to large breeds and that could help with my ongoing training. I would not like to live with any other pets.
