Hi, I'm Fluke, a 7 year old Husky.
I'm looking for new owners who have ideally got previous experience owning Northern breeds, and will understand the quirks of the breed type. Although I am very beautiful, I have not had a great start in life, my new friends have done lots of training with me to help me be more sociable with people and dogs but I still struggle sometimes with new situations.
My new owners will need to do lots of visits at the centre to establish a strong relationship with me as I might be nervous at first. My favourite thing in life is walkies, and I'll go for miles, so new owners with an active lifestyle would be great. I have been working on my social skills and I am now fully used to wearing a muzzle, I'm muzzled when out and about and love walks in quieter areas.
As I am not able to be let off the lead it would be great if my new home has a large secure garden where I can run and play and act the goofy fool that I am. I will need an adult only home as I have never been used to having children around me and they make me feel very worried.
Ideally I need to be re-homed within Cornwall to allow for lots of visits and support throughout the homing process.
