Hello my name is Taz, I came to the centre as a stray from a pound. They tell me I’m a two-year-old small Jack Russell cross.
I can be a worried chap and am looking for an extra special home with an owner experienced with nervous and reactive dogs, who will respect my body language and give me the time and space I need to settle and learn that the world isn’t so scary.
It takes me time to build up a bond and trust someone, but once I do, I am a charming chap with the waggiest tail. I love company and am looking for the opportunity to thrive in an understanding, loving home.
My new owners will need to do many visits to meet me so we can get to know and trust each other before I go to my new home.I am looking for a quiet home in a quiet area with adults only. My home will need a quiet, secure private garden, so that I am able to enjoy some outside time without having to worry too much about other dogs and people.
I would like to be the only pet in the home, so I get all of your love and full attention.
If you are that experienced owner who has had small dogs with challenging behaviour before, please consider giving me a chance! NAWT can offer all the advice and support you need to help me become your best most loving buddy
