Hi guys! My name’s Ben. I am a handsome 18-month-old Labradoodle. I came into the centre through no fault of my own.
Once you get to know me, you will see I am an incredibly playful and affectionate boy. I can be a little hand shy initially so I will need to find a patient new owner that can get to know me at my own pace. I am a quick learner and, being just a young dog, I need someone who is going to put plenty of effort into continuing my training. True to my breeds nature I am also a very energetic pooch and would be ideal for anyone interested in getting involved with dog agility.
I love toys and have an excellent retrieve! Around other dogs, I am friendly and enjoy having a play. I can be a bit much for some and my carers say that ongoing work here will be needed. I've enjoyed trips in the centre van too - this has also been very exciting!
Ideally I would suit experienced owners with a large secure garden. It is a must that my owners are as energetic as me! I could possibly live with another dog depending on how we got on at the centre first. They would need to be comfortable and tolerant around a bouncy dog like myself. I shared my previous home with a couple cats so could possibly live with cats in my new home. I would be best suited with any resident or visiting children being older (16+).
Please consider me; I would make a great addition to the right home!
