Hey! My name is Pip and I'm a handsome eight-year-old Jack Russell. Unfortunately I came to the centre after my owner passed away.
I'm a sensitive chap and I can take a little time to get to know new people. Once I've learnt to trust you I'm a loyal boy who enjoys being out and about with you. I am extremely energetic for my age and would need to find a new owner that can keep up with my activity levels.
My handlers have been building up my confidence in regards to the handling and grooming side of things however, I must stress, if you are looking for a lap dog then I am not the dog for you. Although I'm slowly improving, I will need to find owners that are fine being hands off and are able to help me improve this at my own pace.
I'm happy to jump into the centre van and have enjoyed going for trips to the local area. I have shown mixed reactions to dogs so it is important I am kept on a line around others.
I'm looking for a quiet adult only home where there are no visiting children. I need to be the only pet in the household.
I just need the right home to come along with a patient new owner who is happy to take things at my own pace.
