About me

Hi there! My name is Muffin and I am a young Yorkie ball of energy just coming up to my first birthday! I was well loved in my previous home but came to the centre as my previous owner was finding me a bit too much to handle. I'm now looking for a new home with someone who can keep up with my activity levels.

The first thing you need to know about me is that I'm full of beans! I love to go out on long walks and run around in the secure fields at the centre. I cannot stress enough that I am going to need an extremely active new home. It is important I am kept both mentally and physically busy otherwise I will find my own entertainment! I love greeting new people but have been told that I can be a little over the top and there are more polite ways to introduce myself. This is something we'll have to work on together!

I enjoy going out on walks with other dogs and am very keen to introduce myself. I would benefit from further socialisation, learning to be calmer during introductions with other pooches.

I'm looking for a home where any children are older, sensible and able to be calm around me, aged 13+ please! I could potentially live with another dog. They'd need to be calm and tolerant of my puppy-like ways and it would depend on introductions first. Ideally I would suit experienced owners with a large secure garden. It is a must that my owners are as energetic as me!

I need someone who is willing to put the work into me, they say I have great potential but still have lots to learn!
