Hi! My name is Roxy and I'm a fantastic 7 year old Jack Russell terrier. I've come from another rescue centre and my carers do not have any previous history on me.
Since I've been here my carers have found me to be quite a nervous little dog. I can be handshy around new people and take some time to become confident with you. Once I know you I start to relax. I enjoy retrieve games and will happy bound around with my favourite toys when given the opportunity.
I've loved going out in the centre van and get very excited in anticipation of exploring somewhere new! I have been happy to interact with the dogs that I've met on my walks too!
I'm looking for an active and calm new home which will allow me to settle in my own time. I'm still pretty active so you will need to be able to provide me with plenty of exercise. I could potentially live with a cat, depending on further testing, and a calm male dog, also depending on intros first. I would be best suited to an adult only home with someone around for the greater part of the day.
