About me

Meet our beautiful Honey, as sweet as her name but a shy ol’ girl, who’s looking for an adult only home where she can thrive and flourish.

Honey loves her favourite squeaky octopus toy and can often be seen in her kennel with her squeaky toy in her mouth! As an older lady, she’s looking for a home where she can peacefully live out her years. She walks beautifully on the lead but she’s a strong dog and because of her nerves needs someone who can handle her strength and can cope with the behaviour that can be associated with a nervous dog that has likely experienced trauma. She’s looking for an owner who has experience with a dog with behavioural issues / nerves or similar difficult pasts.

Watching Honey learn to trust, find her comfort zone and relax around people is SO rewarding and she’d really love a family to celebrate her achievements with.

She loves routine, so a quiet home where she can have a similar routine each day would work great for her as she learns to be comfortable in a home again. She loves her food and is very clever – especially for a treat!

If you believe you have the calm and patient adult only home that our lovely Honey is looking for, we’d love to talk to you, please contact us on hula.reception@nawt.org and let us know a telephone number for us to call to chat to you further.
