Hey, my name is Tia and I'm a beautiful four-year-old Yorkie. I came into the centre because I wasn't coping with the visiting children so I am now looking for a quieter home.
I'm a very sweet natured & energetic girl but sadly I am completely blind so it does take a little time for me to trust you. It is very important that my new home is calm and quiet because I can be easily frightened by loud or sudden movements.
Once I am comfortable around you I am a friendly dog and like to be given plenty of fuss. I cannot stress enough that I am still a very active and busy little dog who likes to be on the go. I enjoy travelling in the car and it is important for me to have a secure good sized garden that I can run around in (providing it is free from obstacles that could harm me).
I'm looking for new owners that will be able to keep up with me because I can become frustrated if not given my required amount of exercise. It is important I find a adult only home with no visiting children and a home where any stairs can be managed so that I'm kept safe.
If you are considering rehoming me then please check out the link below for more information on caring for a blind dog.
