Hello! My name is Gus and I'm a handsome 3 year old staffie! I came in as I was found as a stray and no one claimed me.
I am a lovely boy who enjoys meeting new people. I'm fairly typical of my breed in that I enjoy boisterous play and can be very enthusiastic with my toys! I particularly enjoy playing ball and have an excellent retrieve.
My basic training could do with some more work and it's important that my new owner is happy and able to continue the work that the staff have started with me here. I have been good whilst travelling in the centre van and have enjoyed trips out to explore new places. Around other dogs I am friendly but can be too much for some other dogs so need continued socialisation around calmer types in order the develop my skills.
My ideal new home would be with owners that have experience of bull breeds like myself. I'm not used to being left, and find it stressful at times, so will need someone who is around for the greater part of the day in order to build this up with me. I could potentially live with another dog (depending on introductions first) and children 12+. I'm a fantastic, loveable chap so please consider me!
