Hello! My name is Fred and I am an eight-year-old crossbreed. I am roughly staffie sized with a wire terrier type coat. I came in with Barney as our previous owner was no longer able to care for us. I could be homed on my own or with him if someone wanted to take us both on.
I love attention and am very sweet and affectionate! I walk fairly well on the lead but am pretty enthusiastic and just love to sniff everything! Staff have ensured my basic training is good and even taught me a few fun tricks that I would just love to show you! I'm very food motivated and enjoy learning. I walk well alongside calm dogs and will need someone who is happy to continue my socialisation.
In my previous home I lived in an outside kennel so I need a patient owner that's happy to put the work in and remind me of house etiquette. I have been working hard on my crate training so that I can use one in my new home. I love a good blast around off lead and am a real favourite with the volunteers that take me out!
I am looking for a home with no other pets (unless you wanted to take on my friend, Barney, too). It is important that I find someone with an extra secure garden too as I have been known to clear high fences.
