My name is Willow and I am a gorgeous two year old lurcher.
I came in to the centre through no fault of my own and during the short time I've been here the staff have (quite rightly) fallen head over heels in love with me.
A typical lurcher, there's nothing I love more than lounging around on a warm sofa with someone to snuggle up next to. I thrive in human company so I would be looking for someone who is at home during the day.
When I'm not relaxing on a comfy seat I have bundles of energy and love to zoom around, so would ideally be looking for somewhere with a secure garden where I could practice my zoomies. Like most of my lurcher friends though, my energy comes in short, sharp bursts so after a good play, or a sniff about on a good walk I'll be happy curled up at home again with my paws up.
I've been known to toilet in my kennel but have recently shown some improvement and will try to hang on for walks or take myself to my yard for some toilet breaks, it is, however something that would need further work in the home.
I do have that lurcher chase drive so would unfortunately not be able to share my home with any cats or other small furries but could live with a friendly dog if we get along. I could also live with sensible children over the age of eight.
What the staff say:
Willow really is such a beautiful dog through and through, we would love her to find a home as soon as possible as she's never happier than when she has people around her. She will make a wonderful companion and make such a lovely addition to the right home. Call the centre and arrange to meet her to see what all the fuss is about!
