About me

Hello! My name is Ted and I'm a rather handsome Poodle x Shih-Tzu looking for a very special and particular forever home. I was born January 2016.

Initially I can be nervous when I meet new people, and it takes time (and some tasty treats!) for me to feel comfortable around you. I need to really trust you before you are able to handle me and everything has to be done at my own pace and on my terms. Once I know you I love to go out for adventures, although I do prefer the quieter areas to explore so that I can relax and take things slowly. I have a few calm dog friends, but I much prefer my own space around the more boisterous types.

My handlers have been building up my confidence in regards to the handling and grooming side of things however, I must stress, if you are looking for a lap dog then I am not the dog for you. I've had a few homes and I'm looking for a new owner that is happy to put up with my quirky behaviours as it is part of my character. I'm much happier with a hands off approach and will always need this. I'm currently on a raw dog food diet and my carers would recommend that I continue this in my new home.

I love playing with my toys and am sure to make you laugh with my antics! I'm looking for an experienced, adult only home where I can be the only pet in the household. I'll need any potential owner to be dedicated to coming in plenty of times to get to know me. It would be best for me to live somewhere that does not have any visiting children. Please don't hesitate to enquire about me if you think we could be a match!
