About me

My name is Muttley (Mutts for short) and I am 5 year old Briard x Poodle looking for a new forever home. I may look like a big bundle of fur but underneath all that hair is an even bigger heart!

When I first arrived at the centre, I kept lots of my quirky character hidden but now I’m showing them the real fun me!! I can be a bit silly and goofy and I love to zoom around the fields faster than lightning! I am a gentle giant and a bit of a scaredy cat; I don’t like being in the rain, spooky noises or the wind in my hair. All in all, I am a very laid back dog and I'm going to make a fantastic addition to someones family!

I’m a real good boy; I’m completely housetrained, I don’t chew things up and I could be left alone for a few hours. I am a big lad and, as you can see from my photos, extremely hairy! So I will need regular grooming and trips to the poodle parlour.

I enjoy going out and about on my adventures and, although I can be strong on the lead, the staff here love to walk me. With other dogs, I am a bit of a scaredy cat! I am fine meeting dogs out and about on my walks but, because they scare me a little and I deserve all the love for myself, I would need a home as an only pet. I could live with older teenage children that are used to dogs too. I can’t wait to get back into the comforts and routine of home life so, if you think we could be a perfect match, please let the humans here know!
