About me

Hello there, my name is Smokey. I am a handsome 1-year-old Lurcher. I came into the centre after I was found straying.

I am a lovely natured chap that is happy to meet and greet people when out and about. I am lively and highly energetic and need active owners that are able to provide me with the level of exercise that I need daily. I would benefit from a large secure garden to be able to run around in safely and play with toys. When I am not running around I do also love a cuddle and some fuss.

I have a high prey drive so I need someone that understands that care will need to be taken when I am out and about if we come across anything small and furry as this would be too exciting for me! I am quite happy to jump in the van to go on a trip somewhere as I am relaxed when travelling. I would need my time spent alone built up gradually as my carers are not sure what I would be like when left alone.

I am looking for an experienced adult only home. I could possibly live with a calm dog however this would need further testing as I can be quite full on. I am not able to live with a cat due to my high prey drive.
