Please meet Larry,
Larry is a very sweet boy, who has a really gentle side and loves a good cuddle and fuss. However, he also is a typical lurcher and has his hyperactive, long legged kangaroo “wanna be” side too.
Larry was brought into our care from another rescue called “Jacobs Pound” due to him being a stray. Therefore, we have no background history on him.
We are unsure if he was a working dog as most breeds like him are often used for working, and sadly end up in stray kennels. He does have the traits of a working dog as he does lack in manners, and has no recall. However, with training, time and patience he will pick all this up.
He would benefit going training classes but his new owners will need to be aware that he isn’t the brightest boy in the kennels, and does take a while to understand what you wish for him to do. However, his cuteness does play a big part in this, and he will win you over with a very sad look when he wants the treat.
