Please meet Jasper,
Jasper is a fun, out going boy, but he has had no training so can be over the top, leggie puppy.
Jasper was brought to us from another rescue called “Jacobs Pound” where he was handed in as a stray. Due to this we have no back ground history on him, and unsure if he was a working dog.
Jasper would benefit going to training classes to learn some basic manners, on lead and everyday tasks. However he likes to please but isn’t a quick learner, and it does take him a while for him to figure out what you wish him to do. Jasper does lack manners on the lead and he pulls and jumps around, especially when he is exited, which at his age everything is exciting.
Jasper has no recall and has a high prey drive so he cannot be let off the lead until he has learn “Leave it” and recall.
Jasper is looking for a dog friend who is willing to teach him to calm down when he gets excited, but also a fast runner to do zoomies with.
