About me

Hi! My name is Freya and I'm a 4 year old Collie cross German Shepherd. I originally arrived at the Centre as a stray and then found a loving home but sadly my owner has passed away so I have returned to the Centre to find another home. Once I know somebody, I am very affectionate and will try and be a lap dog! However, with the cross that I am, my wary and protective side does come out when I come across new people and I'll try and look as though I'm tougher than I am! I am working on this at the Centre by wearing a muzzle and the training will need to be continued in my new home, which will need to have experience of collie traits already. My new home will also have to be a quieter home; no visiting children or grandchildren I'm afraid! I love my toys, lots of exercise, mental stimulation and food! I can be quite greedy so my weight will have to be watched! I will make a loyal companion in the right home.
