About me

Hi there! I'm Shep, a 4 year old Collie. You may well have read about me as there was a fundraising appeal for me to have operations on both my hips when I first arrived at the Centre as a stray. The operations were a success and I'm in a lot less pain now but do need to continue to build up my leg muscles. I am looking for a home which understands rescues and Collies; I'm a clever boy and need lots of mental stimulation especially until I'm 100% physically fit. I'm looking for a home in a quiet area as my ears are super sensitive and I can get worried easily by noises and don't like being on my own so will need someone with me most of the time. I am learning to be less excited around other dogs and traffic as when I'm overexcited, the Collie chase and nip in me comes out. I am very loving once I've bonded with you and I could possibly live with a calm dog but not with cats.
