Hey everyone, let me tell you my story! My name is Clyde and I'm sure you'll agree that I am a very handsome young man! I am a special boy on the lookout for my extra special home; I've not had the best start in life but I deserve the best future a dog can dream of.
I had spent a while in different kennels before coming to NAWT and when I got here I was very very scared. Everyone here was kind and patient with me and after a little while, they seemed like they might be fun and we all became good friends. My confidence grew and grew each day and I'm now ready to take on my next big step; getting into my forever home! My training is ongoing and I will require experienced owners who are committed to continuing this. I am a nervous and scared boy in new situations and will need my owners to be patient and understand where I am coming from.
There is not a day goes by that I don't make the people here laugh! I am a bit of a cheeky chappy and love being silly and goofy to make my friends smile. I am also quite the charmer and quite a few people here are totally, madly in love with me but what can I say! They say I have a great spirit, and that whoever gets to have me in their life permanently would be very lucky indeed.
I have been enjoying getting out there in the big wide world; you can often catch me at the beach or the woods and I can't wait for adventures with my forever family. I have learnt loads since being at the Clacton centre; I've got quite a few tricks up my sleeve now and get super proud of myself when I achieve something.
Aside from their experience and willingness to continue my training, my new owners should have no other pets in their life. I will need an adult only home where someone is home most of the time. Due to my need of consistency with introductions and because I will need to visit your house often before I can be adopted, I do need a home relatively local to the clacton centre. I would really like a fair sized garden, as I am a big puppy that likes to do high speed racing around, and obviously, goes without saying, an endless supply of toys and treats!
