Hello there, my name is Betty, and I am an 8-year-old girl that is looking for a loving new home.
I am a bit of a nervous girl and can take my time warming up to new people. With time and patience, I am sure that I will come out of my shell and enjoy being around my new family. I have enjoyed receiving fuss from the team here now that I know them.
I need to be the only cat in the home as I have previously lived with another cat, but our relationship deteriorated and we had to be split up. I could live with a calm, cat-savvy dog that could give me space when I wanted it. I could also live with calm and quiet children in the home but I would need to meet them here at the centre first to make sure that I was comfortable with them.
I have never been allowed to go outside previously, but I would really like the opportunity to do so in my new home. I might be a bit scared at first, so it would be good to wait until I have a really good relationship with my new family so that they can help me feel relaxed outside. I would like there to be a cat flap so that when I am used to the big wide world I can come and go as I please.
I am really hoping that there is a lovely home out there for me, where I can grow in confidence.
