Hello there, my name is Tilly, I’m a sweet, affectionate 11 year old domestic short haired cat who came into rescue as my owner very sadly passed away.
Coming to the centre was a bit of a surprise for me, and I did spend my first few days hiding away, only coming out if somebody offered me a fuss. Now that I’m all settled in though, I’m often found at the door of my pen, calling out to see if anyone wants to come and say hello.
While I absolutely adore attention, I do quite enjoy a gentle game as well, and I make good use of my scratch post. I’m definitely carrying some extra weight, so I’ll be needing an owner who can help me shed the extra pounds I’ve picked up over the years.
I had access to the outside in my previous home, so I’ll be wanting that again in my new home. I’ve not lived with children before, but I could probably live with cat savvy school aged children, provided they know to be gentle with me. I’ve never really gotten on with dogs or other cats, I tend to hide from them or have a good hiss, so I’ll be looking to be the only pet in the household please!
I’m a big, friendly purr machine in need of a loving forever home, could that home be yours?
