About me

Hello there, my name is Winston, I’m a shy but friendly 5 year old domestic shorthair who came into rescue as my owner was moving and was unable to take me with them.

I’ll be very up front, I’m not the bravest boy around, loud noises and sudden movements do tend to make me dive for cover. As such I’ll really benefit from a quiet, peaceful home with an owner who’ll give me lots of time to settle. I’ve been at the centre a little while now and I’m just getting to the point where I’ll come out for a cuddle with the staff and volunteers here.

I find young children quite scary, so would probably only want to live with older, gentle children who don’t make a lot of noise. Also, don’t get me started on how scary I find dogs, so I definitely don’t want to live with one of those. I’ve lived with a cat before and we got on ok, so I could probably live with a calm cat, provided they won’t expect me to play with them.

I’m a handsome, loveable boy in need of a loving forever home where I can feel safe, could that home be yours?
