Meet Winston!
He is a 13year old domestic short hair, who came into our care due to not getting on with the children in the home.
Winston can be a little bit nervous at first and needs to gain your trust before getting comfortable for fuss. He will come over for a stroke but will often retreat or swipe out if he is feeling nervous. He needs time in a home to settle in and gain trust from new people. Winston really likes his food and enjoys climbing his scratching post. You will often find him exploring around or when he gets tired, going for a snooze in his igloo bed! He loves nothing more than a cosy hidey bed.
Winston is looking for an adult only home due to not getting on with the children in the previous home. Ideally a quiet home where he can spend lots of lazy afternoons napping away. He likes fuss on his terms and is looking for an owner who can give him his own space. No cats or dogs in the home.

All cats taken in by the National Animal Welfare Trust are:
- Medically checked by a vet and treated if necessary
- Assessed by our experienced animal care team to understand the type of home they require for their own particular needs
- Vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and neutered
- Given four free weeks of Petplan insurance
- Given an individual training plan according to their needs.
