Hi it’s Perry here! I’m 4 years old, very handsome and on the look out for my new home!
I arrived at the centre as a stray so unfortunately the staff don’t know much about my life before NAWT. Judging by my nervous and fearful behaviour it’s clear that I haven’t had the most loving past a cat could wish for. Most of my days here I like to hide away in my snuggly carrier next to my heater, however, I have now started to venture out of my pen and into our ernrichment pen which I really enjoy! The staff have been spending a lot of time sitting with me in my pen, bringing me lots of yummy treats to help gain my trust. Although it’s baby steps, I have started to feel confident enough to take food from their hands now so I am really hoping there is an adult only family out there for me with lots of patience to continue gaining my trust and to allow me the time to adjust to my new life in my own time. If you try to move quicker then what I’m ready for, I will let you know.
If you think you have the perfect home to bring me out of my shell then please get in touch with the centre.
