About me

Hi there, my name is Diesel and I am an 8 year old Domestic Shorthair. I have arrived here at Trindledown from the Somerset centre in the hope to find that special home of my own.

Diesel seems a bit of an odd name for a beautiful feline like me, the staff are always telling me I am far too elegant for a name like that.

What sometimes comes with beauty is a little bit of catitude! Well I certainly have plenty of that to go round, character, the staff call it. Rubbing around your legs is what I enjoy doing best, I am not always keen on being stroked but worry not, I give you plenty of warning when I’m not in the mood.  Due to this I am seeking a home where I have an experienced cat owner who will allow me to settle at my own pace.

Being around people is something I really enjoy, playing with toys on a string is such great fun. I can get a little over excited whilst playing so cuddles might not be the best idea during this time. Following you around and hopping onto your lap as soon as you sit down is a game I like to play with the staff. I do really enjoy a good cuddle just not always the endless strokes afterwards. Im sure you will get to know me and my ways. Outside space is really important to me so a garden I can venture into is a must.

If you are looking for a companion cat which plenty of catitude then look no further, Diesel has spent far too long in the cattery, she just needs that home she can call her own. In the short time we have known her she is becoming the firm favourite here at the centre. She will make a great addition to a cat lover out there.

Do you have that empty lap just for me?
