Hi there my name is Twinkle and I am 8 years old. I came to the centre when my owner had a change in circumstances and could no longer look after me.
I’m a shy, sensitive girl so I’m finding it hard to settle in here. I spend most of my day hiding although on a good day you might see me in my basket on the shelf. It takes me a long time to settle in new environments and I get nervous when people approach me. Some people mistake me for being angry but really I’m just scared so I’ll need an experienced owner who is patient and understands that I will need to settle in at my own pace. I don’t really have much interest in toys but I do like to play on the cat app when one of my volunteer friends brings in their iPad, but food is the best way to my heart, I love a bit of chicken if you toss it on the floor for me.
Loud noises and young children scare me so I am looking for a quiet home with adults or families with children age 16 and above, and no other pets. Once I have settled in to my new home I would like access to the outdoors so that I can sunbathe.
