Meet Susie!

Hi there! My name is Susie, and I am a 2-year-old female ex-racing Greyhound that is looking for a wonderful new home to call my own.

I am a very lucky girl, as I am spending time in a foster home whilst I wait for my new home! My foster home has a small cockerpoo-sized dog in it that I am getting on with very well, and I am making myself comfortable here that's for sure!

I can live with older children that can respect my space and let me come to them, so that I can learn to trust them. As I mentioned, I am currently living with a small dog, so I could live with another dog in my forever home as long as we get on well during visits at the centre and in my new home. I can't live with cats as my greyhound nature makes me want to chase them!

I am not used to being left on my own, but it is something that I am going to be working on in my foster home. When I go to my new home I would like there to be someone around for most of the time to begin with, so that I can settle in. I have been doing really well with my toilet training as well, so I am making moves in the right direction!
