Meet Luna!

Hi everyone, my name is Luna, and I am a 6-month-old Terrier that is looking for a wonderful new home.

I came into the centre with 3 other dogs, as our previous owner could no longer care for us. I haven't been socialised that much, and find a lot of things very overwhelming. When I first got here I had never been walked on a lead before, so that was a weird experience! I am doing really well with learning that world isn't so scary, so we have decided that it is the right time to find me a new home that can carry on teaching me.

I can live with older teenagers that wouldn't overwhelm or frighten me, as younger children can be quite noisy. I would not be able to live with another dog, as I am showing quite a bit of reactivity to them, so I need lots of training to help me behave in a better way. I could live with a dog-savvy cat that wouldn't try to scare me!

I am not used to being left on my own, so I am looking for a home where there is someone around all of the time to help me settle in. When I have settled in, I can start to learn how to cope with being left alone via gradual and kind methods.
