Meet Louis!

Hello there, my name is Louis, and I am a 6-year-old French Bulldog that is looking for a new home.

I came into the centre as a stray, so the team placed me in a wonderful foster home that have been great with me! I have been really good in my home and have shown that I will be a perfect friend for whoever gets to adopt me. When I was at the centre, I could sometimes be a bit silly when I got overwhelmed and I would tug on my lead, so I was walked on a chain lead to make sure that I didn't chew through a material one! Now that I have settled in a home environment, I am being walked on a normal lead like a good boy! I was also a bit bouncy at the centre, but in my home I am very calm and chilled out. You might see that side of me during visits at the centre, but please rest assured that it is just because I find it stressful there.

I can live with older children that are big enough to not be knocked over by me jumping and can help with my training! They wouldn't be able to walk me themselves due to me sometimes ragging on the lead, but we would have great fun playing together! I am unable to live with another dog, as I don't like it when they get into my space. I also can't live with cats as I am much too interested in them!

I am able to be left alone for an hour or so, but I will need someone around for most of the time that can help me settle and teach me how to cope with being alone in my new home. I am toilet trained, and love having a garden to run around in.
