Meet Spud!

Hello, my name’s Spud, lovely to meet you!

NAWT rescued me from a pretty tough situation where I wasn’t being cared for properly. They decided to name me Spud because, well... just look at me. I’m the perfect little potato!
Alright, I admit it, I’m actually quite a big potato. The vets say I need to lose a bit of weight to help me get fit and healthy. I’m not entirely convinced about this whole “diet” thing (it’s a bit boring, if I’m honest), but I am enjoying my daily walks and playtime. And here’s a fun fact: despite being a chunky lad, I can really move when I want to!

I’m a friendly, sociable boy and I love meeting new dogs. I get on well with most of them, but because I do have a bit of a prey drive, I need careful supervision around smaller dogs and animals, sometimes my instincts kick in before my brain does.

I’m looking for an owner who will support me on my weight-loss journey and help me become the very best Spud I can be. If you enjoy weekends in the park, relaxing in the garden or cuddling on the couch with a loyal companion by your side, I might just be your perfect match.
