Meet Mary!

Mary here! don’t blink or you’ll miss me! As you can probably tell I am a retired greyhound, retired at 2 I hear you say? Well I’m certainly pleased as it means I can now start my journey to finding a loving family who will give me all the attention I need.

I’m a pro at zoomies but after a short sprint I love to curl up on my bed and have a good snooze. As you can see I like to stay toasty in my fleece as I can get cold easily! I am the sweetest girl and love to say hello to people, and its even better when they bring me a toy to play with! I am a good girl on the lead and have lived with other greyhounds before but I am a little nervous of new breeds, I thought every dog looked like me!

I am on the tall side and do love to put my paws on people shoulders to have a greyhound hug, but I appreciate this might not be best for the little ones and I haven’t met a tiny human before so I’m not sure how I would be. Sadly for my feline friends I just can’t quite shake my prey drive so it needs to be a no cat home for me.
