Our volunteers are absolutely integral to the work we do. From walking dogs, to holding tombolas, from feeding cats to representing NAWT at community groups and schools they do it all. There's also a whole heap of ways people can get involved that you probably haven't even thought of! Some of them from the comfort of your own home! If you'd like to know more about volunteering, we're holding a volunteer coffee morning on Monday at our centre in Aspley Guise where you can see the centre, meet some of the team and chat to our current volunteers and find out how you could get involved!
*We also know that for some people who may be interested in volunteering, meeting a bunch of new people can be intimidating and daunting. If you'd like to know more, but would rather not attend a social event we would absolutely still love to hear from you. We are happy to chat to you via email, phone, or a 1 on 1 chat at the centre at another time. Some of our volunteers are not 'people people' either, so don't worry. We get it. There's room for everyone. Feel free to email us on n.leach@nawt.org.uk for more info.
