Time:
various - detailed below
Organised by:
Essex - Clacton Centre
About the event:

This time last year at NAWT Clacton we held our most successful ever fun day and dog show.  An incredible £4000 was raised and a fun doggy day out was had by our animal loving local community.  But sadly this year, due to the CoronaVirus we've had to cancel the event and so missed out on this vital source of income

Not to be beaten we've set up a month long 'Rescue the Rescue' On-line Campaign, featuring lots of great virtual activities to keep you and your pets happy and involved, including some mini masterclasses, which offer a great opportunity to learn more about how to keep your pets content and their lives enriched during lock-down We have four fabulous professionals who are kindly giving up their time to share their expertise with you via the following Facebook Live sessions:

Tuesday 19th May at 2 pm:
Rachel Windsor-Knott of myanimalmatters shares the power of botanicals on the emotional, physical and spiritual well-being of cats and dogs, focusing on separation anxiety and grief.

Saturday 23rd May at 11 am:
Julie-Anne Thorne of Naturally Cats provides guidance on how to settle a rescue cat into your home and successfully introducing them to an existing pet.

Wednesday 27th May at 11 am:
Lauren Watts of Lead with Lauren offers top training tips for you and your dog and how to keep your canine content during lock down.

Friday 29th May at 11 am:
Fiona George of Colchester Canine Massage speaks about how canine massage can benefit your dog, identifying musculoskeletal conditions and daily activities and how they impact on your dogs health.

You can join the classes by visiting our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/nawt.clacton/) on the dates and times shown. They are free but we hope that you will show your appreciation for the expertise on offer by making a donation to NAWT Clacton.  All money raised will help fund emergency and essential medical treatment, fill hungry tummies and fund a warm, safe environment for animals in need.  Please donate what you can in memory and appreciation of all the pets that have enriched your life.
