Art Auction Appeal

Date:
23rd June, 2020 to 14th July, 2020
Time:
Donations to be submitted in June and July for an August 2020 auction
Organised by:
Essex - Clacton Centre
About the event:

The team at NAWT Clacton's rescue and re-homing centre are looking for big-hearted amateur and professional artists who might be willing to recreate on canvas (or any art medium) local landscapes, seascapes and townscapes to donate for a future fundraising auction.

The aim of the auction is to raise vital funds for the centre, celebrate the talents of local artists and show the beauty of Essex where the centre is located. Funds raised will help to pay for veterinary care and treatment that will bring abandoned and homeless cats and dogs back to good health and get them ready for rehoming, as well as other essential costs involved in running a charity rescue centre.

Artwork must be original and not copied and can be a painting i.e. a pencil drawing, charcoals, acrylics or a water-colour or you might be proficient in embroidery or mosiacs - we'd like to embrace and celebrate all forms of art.  Due to the uncertainty of restrictions around the CoronaVirus, the auction will be held online, if possible in August 2020.  This means that should we have to return to a lock-down status the event can still go ahead via NAWT Clacton's Facebook page.

If this sounds like something you would like to get involved in, or you would like to know more, we'd love to hear from you. Call or email the centre on 01255 860062 or clacton@nawt.org.uk, leave your contact details and we'll get right back to you.
