We wish to appoint two additional Trustees to our Board to support and assist our organisation to help as many UK pets as possible by providing the appropriate service to pet owners, whatever their circumstances, to ensure a safe and secure future for their pets.
We are particularly interested to hear from individuals with experience in the area of Veterinary Care or Animal Behaviour who can give freely of their time. You will have a commitment to animal welfare, will complement the skills and talents of the existing Trustees, will think strategically, work collaboratively and be able to make a significant contribution.
The Trust has a turnover in excess of £3.5 million per annum, employs over 100 staff at five rescue and re-homing centres and has an active supporter and volunteer base. Trustee meetings are held quarterly (twice virtually and twice per year in person near our Head Office, which is based at our Hertfordshire centre on the outskirts of Watford). We are keen to encourage applications from people with strong connections and links to other parts of the country where we work – Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Cornwall and Essex although this is not a pre-requisite.
