Rocco the parrot hits the headlines

Our very own Rocco the African Grey Parrot has hit the headlines this morning (December 14) after being mentioned in The Sun, Daily Mail and on The Today Programme with John Humphrys!

He has also been featured in The Times and Fox News.

Stunning Rocco joined our Berkshire centre earlier this year after being found as a stray.

Despite causing a few issues initially in the office, by swearing regularly and throwing his water bowl around, our dedicated staff member Marion Wischnewski agreed to take him home!

Now Rocco has found new ways to spend his time, he has 'fallen in love' with Marion's Amazon Alexa — and keeps using it to order shopping.

So far he has demanded treats such as strawberries, watermelon, raisins, broccoli and ice cream.

His story has also been featured in the BBCITV, People, Lad Bible and Huffington Post.

Marion of our Berkshire-based centre in Great Shefford said: " I come home before and he has romantic music playing.

"He loves to dance and has the sweetest personality."

As of December 17, Rocco has made top news across the pond in the USA and national Indian news including CBS and Times of India.
