Meet some of our Purrfect Pals this CLAWgust

NAWT are celebrating all things cats by dedicating August to them for the third year running, renaming it CLAWgust. Cats are the UK’s third most popular pet after fish and dogs, and throughout August, we will be sharing cat information, ideas, facts and tips about all things feline.

To start with meet some of our residents who are keeping their paws crossed for a home this Clawgust…

Shelly

Beautiful Shelly has found herself at Trindledown, Berkshire, for a second time. She has come back through no fault of her own. Shelly has a lot of love to give, and being that bit older at 15 years old, won’t be out hunting too much and preferring to spend her time with company.

Dot and Molly

This duo are waiting for their home at the Clacton centre. Molly (12 years old) and Dot (3 years old) are looking for a home together after their owners moved and were unable to take them with them. Molly and Dot are a playful pair who could possibly share their home with a calm dog, as long as there are enough cuddles to share!

Albus

Albus is another cat who has found himself in the care of NAWT for a second time, through no fault of his own. Albus enjoys the outdoor enrichment area at our HULA centre, and is very chilled out, loving to relax and take naps. Albus would be happy to share a new home with sensible children, female cats or a calm dog.

Tula

Tula arrived at our Watford centre after her owner sadly passed away. Having lived in the same home all her life, she is finding it hard to settle at the centre. She is looking for an owner who will give her time to come out of her shell and build her confidence. Once she gets to know you, she’ll happily come and sit on your lap for a groom, and would enjoy an outdoor space for sunbathing.

Tink

At our Somerset centre is Tink. Tink found his previous house too stressful, so he is hoping for a home where he can be the only pet. His confidence is growing each day at the centre, enjoying all the head scratches, chin rubs and cuddles the volunteers can offer! At 4 years old, Tink loves to play and keep active.

Simba

Stunning Simba is waiting for a home at our Cornwall centre. He enjoys going in the outdoor enrichment area, and would do well in a rural home. A curious kitty, Simba has a lot of love to give.
