Tom was suffering from a horrific ear infection, that had been left untreated for far too long. So long that the vet struggled to get drops into his ear, because his outer ear and ear canal were so terribly swollen.
Things went from bad to worse for Tom, when the vet came to the conclusion that his ear and ear canal had to be completely removed. When performing this procedure, the vet discovered the infection had spread further past his ear canal and into tissue around his skull.
Tom had multiple veterinary trips and medical treatment and was such a star trooper throughout. Most cats would not tolerate such invasive procedures for long, but he remained so friendly throughout it all, despite the traumatic experience.
Tom’s story was featured in a local newspaper, spreading the word throughout the community that this gorgeous boy was desperately seeking another chance at happiness. Following this, you joined forces with overwhelming generosity to pay for his life-changing treatment.
You came to Toms rescue in his darkest days and thanks to you, he is recovering very well from his operation, and is such a happy kitty these days!
