Could Zen score a forever home during the World Cup?

A football loving pooch is on the lookout for his forever home this summer.

Zen, an eight-year-old Staffordshire bull terrier cross loves nothing more than a kickabout in our Watford centre’s fields.

As England's World Cup campaign continues on Sunday, our dedicated staff is still looking for a loving home for Zen.

The beautiful, well natured Staffie cross came into the care of our Watford centre in September 2016 and his canine carers soon noticed that his favourite pastime was playing football.

Centre Manager at our Hertfordshire branch Jackie said: “Zen is such a clever lad and he’s been so unlucky whilst in our care – he’s been on and off reserve and otherwise overlooked.

“He’s a sweetheart who just needs someone to take a chance on him, and he loves a game of footie.

“To us, all of the animals in our care are champions and the ultimate goal is finding them a forever home.

“So if you’re looking for somebody to share your sofa with this World Cup, come down to the centre and meet Zen.”
