NAWT London and Home Counties - about us
London and Home Counties Animal Rescue Centre

Reception
Serving North London and large areas of Hertfordshire, Middlesex, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire, the Centre can house up to 300 homeless dogs and cats and a variety of other animals.

Kennels and Catteries
As at each of our Centres all of the cats and dogs have well heated sleeping areas and adequate runs. Dogs have regular access to exercise areas where volunteers and staff walk and play with them, Volunteers also help in the catteries and small domestic pet areas.

Farm Animals
There are several Pot bellied pigs, who are now permanent residents.

The Ponds
These provide a home for the resident waterfowl.

Wild Animals
Various wild creatures are brought to the Centre for rehabilitation and release

Veterinary Centre
The animals are supported by first class veterinary care with an up to date operating theatre, modern equipment which includes a blood analysis machine, surgitron, dental scaler, blood pressure monitor, x-ray facilities and a hospitalisation unit.

Memorial Garden
Although space is limited the garden area encourages life of all kinds. The flowers in the Memorial Garden in particular, add charm and beauty to the environment. Although in keeping with the Trust's philosophy, no healthy animal is ever put to sleep, a number of animals whose natural lives have come to an end are remembered in the attractive and well maintained Memorial Garden.
