Thurrock and South West Essex Branch

The Thurrock and South West Essex branch was formed in 1977, originally as a fundraising group, but within months the volunteers realised that there were many animals in the area needing homes. Since those early days the branch has found homes for thousands of unwanted cats and dogs besides helping many animals.

The dogs are vaccinated, neutered and micro chipped, wormed and had flea control before being re-homed. All the cats we re-home are neutered at six months, micro chipped and have been wormed and had flea control. We ensure that all kittens homed from us are also neutered at the appropriate age.

There are always more cats and dogs in care than we can show on the website, and invariably we have a list of cats waiting to come into care.
