We rent out at a private cattery and kennels, besides having a few kind people who will foster kittens/cats and puppies/dogs for us in their homes. Our expenses are high with bills for cattery and kennels, besides providing food etc for foster homes, and as we also have considerable vet bills fundraising plays a very important part in our activities.

We organise jumble sales, attend boot sales, have stalls at various fetes and bazaars, have quiz nights, and run a Christmas Bazaar and a Grand Christmas Draw. We are always in need of people who can help us with fund raising, which can be quite an amusing event. If you can spare a few hours, now and again we'd love to hear from you.

We always need new volunteers in all aspects of our work. Whatever your interest, whether it is walking our rescued dogs, helping at a stall at the fund raising events, attending Boot Sales, making items, collecting items in your area, home checking, taking animals to the vets, or fostering kittens, why not get in touch with us and learn more about us.

Of course we would also like to hear from anyone in Essex who can offer a home to a rescued cat or dog.
